Welcome,
Our home-based, Mommy and Me Playgroup for 18 mo - 3 year olds and drop off programs for 2 to 5-year olds is located in Trumbull, CT. We are a playgroup that focuses on emotional health, nurturing cooperation, kindness and compassion. Children are supported to develop in their own time and their own way.
Our Mommy and Me Playgroup provides the start of a gentle transition into our drop off programs. Children are all different and ready for our drop off programs at different stages. There is never any pressure to rush their development. Children can stay in this playgroup with mom close by up until 3/4 years old, but can transition into drop off programs when we feel your child is ready. Moms input is respected in making this decision. You know your child best.
Our drop off programs for 2 year olds and 3-5 year olds provide age appropriate activities through singing, stories, crafts, outdoor time, etc.

What is your background?
I have a BA in Psychology with a concentration in child develpment from Quinnipiac University, certifications in relaxation coaching, pediatric massage, and holistic health coaching. In addition, I have over 4o year of experience working with young children including owning and operation The Children's Corner of Fairield, a nationally accredited early childcare program.

Do I need to commit to the year?
We understand that things change in your life and you may need to leave the program. We just ask that you give 2 weeks notice.
What days are you open?
Mommy and Me Playgroup for 18 mo. - 3 year olds runs on Wednesdays from 9:30-11:00.
Drop off program for 2 year olds run on Mondays and Fridays from 9:30-12:30. It is encouraged to join the Mommy and Me Playgroup on Wednesdays for at least 1-2 months before starting this drop off program.
Drop off program for 3-5 year olds run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-12:30.
What is the cost?
$30/morning for Mommy and Me Playgroup
$50/morning for drop off programs
How many children are in each group?
There is a max. of 4 children in the Mommy and Me Playgroup and in the drop off for 2 year olds. There are 4-6 children in the drop off for 3-5 year olds.
Do I pay if I miss a day that my child is signed up? Yes, you pay regardless if your child is here or not BUT, you are able to make up the day.
Does my child need to be toilet trained?
No
Do you close during the year?
We are closed from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day and July 4th. These days are not paid holidays.
Do you close for snow days?
No
Is lunch served?
Yes, children bring a cold lunch each day. We are a nut free environment.
Can I visit?
Yes, I encourage you to come visit. Please text me 203-383-0006 to schedule. The first visit takes place outside of program hours so we can talk freely.
